Celiac disease can cause further complication beyond this symptoms listed above as it is actually an auto immune disease rather than an allergy or intolerance. The gluten particle can cause a chain reaction that causes the immune system to attack the small intestine and leave it unable to digest any food properly. This can cause a host of problems from severe intestinal discomfort to malnutrition, anemia and skin problems.

The best way to alleviate this symptoms is to remove the offending substance, which can be difficult at best to do. Gluten is such a central part of the western diets that it is in just about everything and requires a person to do a considerable amount of research in order to be able to create a gluten free diet. Gluten free breads exist as do pastas and other flour based goods, but these types of products are not usually the problem. Gluten is a hidden ingredient in everything from salad dressings, to soups, and convenience foods.

If you want avoid gluten allergy symptoms you must first avoid gluten, this means educating yourself on the different forms that gluten takes and the types of foods you may find it in. there are also lists available on the Internet that can help you figure out what products have gluten in them and which ones do not. Over time you will become better and choosing gluten free alternatives and will be able to avoid gluten symptoms quite easily.
